From the Museum of Londoners
Featured here is the latest in our series of collaborative works between the Museum of London, and London-based photographers. They tell the stories of some of the many different Christmas traditions of Londoners, and their animals, through photography.
This year, the Museum of London has collaborated with the Mayhew Animal Welfare Centre for our 2018 Christmas card to tell the story of Cassie, Jayda, Lilly and Sophie and how they will be spending Christmas with their humans.
Luke Stephenson, the photographer behind this series is originally from Darlington, North East England and now based in London. Having lived in the capital for over 10 years, Luke has documented the city’s subjects, often hidden from the mainstream. The focus of his work is often eccentric, humorous and affectionate.
